KOLKATA: Women-first matchmaking application Bumble enjoys established a brand new initiative, Stand for protection, within their purpose to generate a less dangerous, kinder and sincere net.
In partnership with Red Dot base’s flagship community protection program Safecity, Bumble was delivering a safety self-help guide to empower ladies in Asia to spot, avoid and fight soaring electronic abuse; a furtherance of the dedication to a zero-tolerance plan for detest, violence or bullying of any kind.

A recently available nationwide research by Bumble found 83 percent of women surveyed in India experience online harassment of some sort, plus one in three people experiences it weekly. A further 70 per-cent of females genuinely believe that cyberbullying enhanced since lockdown is established in 2020. Over half (59 per cent) of women interviewed said they feel risky and simply under half (48 %) feel enraged.
